Alarms and Automation Systems

An Intruder alarm system is a set of interconnected devices aimed at protecting your premises against intruders and notifying you and the monitoring centre of any violation of the protected zones. Our alarm systems can be hard-wired and wireless, or a combination of both.

A basic intruder alarm system consists of a control panel, with a rechargeable battery power backup and internal or external keypads, a panic button, several interiors, and perimeter intrusion detectors, and one external sounder.

CCTV Installation and Monitoring

Gate and Garage Automation

In a gate motor, you are looking for reliability, sturdiness, strength, and battery backup (very important for safety, blackouts, and if there is restricted access into the property). Our preferred supplier is Centurion & ET systems. With locally made products (for SA conditions) and easy access to spare parts, it is the obvious choice.

Built-in lightning and surge protection also mean that easy repair does not become an expensive replacement. Expandability includes intercom integration, safety beams, security lights, pressure sensors (opens when a car drives over), pedestrian key switch/keypad, proximity reader access, magnetic locks, and integration with other receivers.

Garage door motors are similar to gate motors with regards to strength, battery backup, etc. Please enquire about your specific application – sectional, tip-up, or roll-up. 

Maintenance and Repairs

We offer maintenance contracts for homeowners, businesses, and complexes. Remember: the best security system in the world is totally ineffective if it is not in working order. Maintenance can be arranged for gate motors, garage door motors, intercom systems, access control, alarm systems, CCTV, and a variety of other installations.

A well-maintained system will save you money – be it from fixing a fault early on to budgeting for a component/s that will need replacing in the future. A typical contract will include regular maintenance calls that consist of testing the system, radio, siren/strobe, batteries, etc. lubricating wheels and moving parts; inspection for wear and tear; and performing small maintenance-related repairs. A full report is then drawn up and mailed to the relevant person.
